Clearly my career has centered more on bodybuilding than CrossFit, so naturally I was in the bodybuilding camp when the bodybuilding vsCrossFit debate was hot, and I'm glad CrossFit (mostly) died a slow and painful death (thanks, Ripper). But for my wife's sake and yours, I want some facts. The first thing we learned is that the CrossFit games are a bunch of shit. I'm not going to go so far to say the entire CrossFit movement is a garbage dump. But what is garbage? When I was a kid I used to watch sports like football and hockey on NES. I saw a bunch of guys run around running and knocking over people. It's a game of skill and effort. It's not a bunch of guys running around doing nothing. The sport that everyone loves and wants to be a part of, and the main source of my passion and income at this point in my life, is baseball (for many reasons). I'm not saying baseball is bad. It does have its merits and it has a place in the world (or any life), but it's still a physical sport. It has nothing to do with fitness. Not a fucking fucking lick. My wife and I just finished watching the documentary CrossFit Games, which I must review thoroughly, because that's something I plan on doing if I can get the time (I do need some time). My wife is also going to watch the documentary. In the mean time, all I can say is it's really damn fascinating and I have a ton of ideas about what the world of CrossFit should look like. I haven't done CrossFit since middle school, so all I can say is: this needs to happen eventually. The "Crossover" or "The Game" CrossFit games don't really have a crossover anymore. What I mean by that is that CrossFit has grown to a point where everyone can have success in the CrossFit games or at least some success. It's too far gone for that. So when the "gatekeeper" for CrossFit games decides he doesn't want to let anyone have any more success in the CrossFit games, it doesn't mean these games are dead. It just means it's not going to be a fun time anymore. I love the "cross" in CrossFit and I love the game. And I think we can all agree that it'd just be a great time if we all did everything we did in the CrossFit Games and we all beat the shit out of somebody at every level. But the idea of "The Game" doesn't mean Similar articles:
